God-tracking is all about submitting to the perfect will of God. I believe that God has a plan for our lives; a plan to prosper us with hope for a good future.

Like most people my age, I grew up reciting the Lord’s Prayer at school every morning. I remember, throughout my days at primary school, the class would stand together first thing in the morning and recite by rote, “Our Father in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come, thy will be done…” This prayer became the standard starting point of my prayer life when I eventually gave my life to Jesus.
Romans 12:2
Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is–his good, pleasing and perfect will.
This is a powerful yet simple prayer that Jesus taught his disciples to pray. I believe that this prayer is a fabulous formula we can use to enhance our prayer life. It begins with praise and worship, then takes us through submission to God, on to making requests for our needs, followed by confession of sin, and then into spiritual defence against the forces of evil. However, for me, the most powerful part of this prayer is when we pray the words, “…thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.”
God-tracking is all about submitting to the perfect will of God. I believe that God has a plan for our lives; a plan to prosper us with hope for a good future. If you know Christ as Lord and acknowledge God in all you do, then you will align with his plans for your life. God’s plans are God’s will for you. Scripture calls us to renew our thinking so that we will be transformed to know and experience God’s perfect will.
Sometimes our thinking is so clouded by the patterns of this world that we don’t clearly see God’s plans for our lives and end up stepping out of his perfect will. Therefore, we need to prayerfully correct our thinking by setting our minds on things above and not on earthly things. This will open us to discover God’s amazing plans for our lives and lead us to walk squarely within his will.
So, pray with me, your will be done in my daily life, O Lord, as it is done in heaven. As Kay Arthur said, “The will of God for your life is simply that you submit yourself to him each day and say, ‘Father, your will for today is mine. your pleasure for today is mine. Your work for today is mine. I trust you to be God. You lead me today, and I will follow.’”
God-tracking is enjoying God’s will on earth.
