Scripture calls us to acknowledge God in all our ways and trust him to direct our life’s track. That is a wonderful promise. Acknowledging God requires that we present our needs, our plans, our ambitions and our relationships to the Lord in prayer, confessing that he, as our guide, will direct the outcome of our life choices. Then we boldly tell the world that our loving God will lead us and keep us on the right track. In all your ways acknowledge him and he shall direct your path because he is knowledgeable of your entire life.
The sons of Jacob had settled in Egypt under the oversight and protection of their brother Joseph. However, when Joseph died and the king of Egypt changed, the people of God groaned under the bondage of slavery. They were slaves to the Egyptians for centuries but God saw their plight. He remembered his covenant with Abraham, and God acknowledged them. Years later, under the leadership of Moses, he delivered his loved ones from slavery and led them to a land flowing with milk and honey.
Exodus 2:25
And God looked upon the children of Israel, and God acknowledged them
God acknowledged his people in their troubles. God acknowledges you, in your troubles. We read that those whom he foreknew, he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son. The Lord has foreknowledge of your life, something you don’t possess. In his foreknowledge, he has predestined you, not only unto eternal life through Jesus but unto a secure and prosperous future in the here and now. Jesus came to give you abundant life. And your abundant life starts now!
Your God has acknowledged you so continue to acknowledge him in all your ways.
God-tracking is continuing to acknowledge God.
