I believe the time has come when we who believe in the scruples and absolutes of God’s word are being attacked for the ethics of our faith. I believe the era of true freedom of Christian belief has come to an end. But we are encouraged by Jesus’ words when he said, “If you were of the world, the world would love you as its own; but because you are not of the world, the world hates you.” And he said, “In the world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world.”

Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness’ sake, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
Perhaps you’re facing opposition for your confession of God’s word today. It could be you’ve been accused of being dogmatic about a moral biblical precept.
