Lou Whitney’s Prayer for Israel and the Middle East – Transcript
Good morning, Church.
During this time of worship, as we pray and believe God for miracles, I encourage you to remember that our God is a covenant-keeping God. What He has promised in your life, He will bring to pass, Amen! Because He is a God of covenant, we look to Him knowing that His promises are unchanging.
Right now, the eyes of the world are on a tiny nation, Israel, a nation God has a special covenant with. He will fulfil His promises to the people of Israel. We do not believe in replacement theology. We have not replaced Israel. Instead, we believe in the faithfulness of a covenant-keeping God. While He loves all nations, He has a unique covenant with this land.
Just a few days ago, the Supreme Leader of Iran claimed that Israel will not last. But this morning, let us declare God’s promises over Israel and its people. He has spoken that they will never again be called “forsaken.” They will remain in their land, and God will bring His promises to fruition, Amen!
As we remember Israel, we also lift up the nations affected by the surrounding conflicts. We know the Lord’s eyes are upon all nations.
I want to share with you a prophetic promise from Isaiah 19:23-25. This is often overlooked:
“In that day, there will be a highway from Egypt to Assyria. The Assyrians will go to Egypt, and the Egyptians to Assyria. The Egyptians and Assyrians will worship together. In that day, Israel will be one of three with Egypt and Assyria, a blessing in the midst of the earth, whom the Lord Almighty will bless, saying, ‘Blessed is Egypt, My people, Assyria, the work of My hands, and Israel, My inheritance.'”
There is hope for Israel and the Middle East this morning! While nations and media question, we focus on God’s Word, His promises, and His covenant, Amen!

Let us pray together for Israel and the Middle East:`
Oh Lord, we thank You this morning that You are a covenant-keeping God. Your eyes are upon the nations, and You see what is happening among them. We lift up Israel and the Middle East to You, Lord.
Father, we cry out for peace. We cry out for secure borders. We ask for Your hand to move. Thank You for the promise of the Isaiah 19 Highway, a day when Arabs will worship side by side with Jews, when Persians, Arabs, and Gentiles will join together with Jews. One day, Lord, we will ascend the mountain of Jerusalem, and the nations will bow before You, declaring You as Messiah, Hallelujah!
We thank You, Lord, that You are our soon-coming King. You are Yeshua HaMashiach, our Saviour. You are not Isa of the Quran; You are the God of Israel, the Saviour and King. We worship You, Lord.
We pray for Israel, especially in these challenging days. During this time of consecration for the Jewish people, we ask that You reveal Yourself to them as Messiah and King. Open their eyes to the truth of Yeshua. Let salvation come to this land, in the mighty name of Yeshua.
Hallelujah, Lord! We bless You. Amen.
