I’ve discovered that God often takes us the long way around in tracking his perfect will for our lives. The Bible makes it clear that God knows the plans he has for us; plans for hope and a future. Scripture also says that if we acknowledge the Lord in all our ways, then he will direct our paths, even if those paths seem to make a detour. Only God knows how many lives we may touch in the process and how much our faith will grow as we learn to trust him. And all things work together for the good of those who acknowledge God.
Matthew 5:10
Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness’ sake, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
Whatever difficulties or detours you may be experiencing today, you are still on track with God’s plans and his purposes for you, if you continue to acknowledge him in all your ways. If you do this, then you will always find yourself precisely where he wants you to be. Remember that he is your holy Guide, and he will never leave you nor forsake you even on the detours of life.God-tracking is remaining on track with God’s plans even through life’s detours.
