The prophet Jeremiah said, “His word was in my heart like a burning fire.” He knew what it was like to be consumed by the zeal of the Lord. Though his word was harsh and condemning, Jeremiah was compelled to deliver the word of God even though his outspokenness would result in his persecution
Jeremiah 20:9
“But His word was in my heart like a burning fire shut up in my bones; I was weary of holding it back, and I could not.”
Jeremiah was sold-out for God. The fire shut up in his bones prohibited him from being indifferent or lethargic. He said, “His word was in my heart like a burning fire shut up in my bones; I was weary of holding it back and I could not.”
Is there a fire burning in your heart? Are you filled with the zeal of the Lord like Jeremiah? If so, then allow that fire to consume you. Kindle the flames of worship, prayer, fellowship and word that the Lord has shut up in your heart.
God-tracking is fanning the flames.
