Sarah Téibo offers a beautiful prayer for these unsettling times with ‘Spirit Come’

Chart-topping singer-songwriter and worship leader Sarah Téibo has just released a new single ‘Spirit Come’ which can be viewed in the video below. ‘Spirit Come’ was written in this period of unprecedented global turmoil and is a heartfelt prayer for the Holy Spirit to move in these unsettling times.

Available with both English and French lyrics, Spirit Come aims to touch hearts, restore families and bring healing to the nations. It will undoubtedly be a well-received here in the UK as well as in Francophone countries. The beautiful worship song was produced by Goziam (Goz-I-am) Okogwu and marks Sarah’s first studio release after signing with eOne Nashville’s IndieBlu distribution platform.

Spirit Come or Saint Esprit Vient is a prayer of supplication in worship, based on Acts 2:1 – 4; 17-18 and John 14:15-17. It is a heartfelt cry for an outpouring of God’s Spirit and you will be stirred by its melodious sounds and powerful words.

“Our generation is crying out / For more of you / More of you / We long for the days when Your power / Moved in the room / Lord move in this room.”

Currently one of the UK’s top female gospel music artists, Sarah Téibo first entered the global music scene in 2015 with her debut single ‘Steal my Joy’, followed by her debut album ‘Walk with Me’ which earned her a MOBO nomination and multiple awards including the prestigious Premier Gospel Awards’ ‘Album of the Year’. Her next album ‘Keep Walking’ saw her top the Official Charts in 2018, making her the first female independent Gospel artist to do so.

“My hope for ‘Spirit Come’ is that it would help listeners make deeper connections with God,” Sarah says. “May it become a useful resource in their personal and corporate worship experiences.”
