My daughter Kerryn was once involved in a bad motor accident on a trip to New Zealand. Thankfully, she was not badly hurt, but her friend suffered a broken neck.

Living as Believers does not exempt us from disaster or suffering. But we are reinforced by the fact that God is always in control. In the Psalms, we read that God instructs his angels to protect us in times of disaster.

Matthew 28:20
And behold, I am with you always

Be encouraged to never take your eyes off Jesus and to acknowledge God in all your ways. Trust him to direct your paths, especially through those disasters in life. I do not believe that God instigates calamity, but when calamity happens, he is faithful to lovingly deliver us from all evil.

By God’s grace, both Kerryn and her friend recovered well after their ordeal. All things work together for good to those who love God.

God-tracking is facing every disaster in the knowledge that he is always in control
